Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is located in the southwest of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, about 16 kilometers away from the city center. It has 2 terminals with a total area of 500,000 square meters. The airport provides a convenient flight network connecting Chengdu to Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Currently, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Tibet Airlines, Chengdu Airlines and other airlines operate here. As of October 31, 2021, 374 routes have been opened, including 131 international (regional) routes, 225 domestic routes, and 18 domestically-transferred international routes.
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is located in the southwest of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, about 50 kilometers away from the city center and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. It is planning to build 6 runways (4 vertical runways and 2 horizontal runways) and a terminal building of 1.4 million square meters, which can addressannual passenger throughput of 120 million and cargo throughput of 2.8 million tons. Tianfu International Airport connects North America, Europe, Oceania, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and other Asian regions with more than 30 international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regional routes.
Chengdu South Railway Station
Chengdu South Railway Station is located in Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The station has 5 platforms and 11 lines. The average daily capacity is around 50,000 passengers, with 10,000 passengers during the peak hour. It is about 10 kilometers from Chengdu Station, 7 kilometers from Chengdu East Station and 13 kilometers from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. On the west side of the station, you can find Chengdu Subway Line 1 and Line 7. Big parking lots, bus stations and other related projects will also be built around the station.
Chengdu East Railway Station
Chengdu East Railway Station is one of the main transportation hubs in southwest China. It is far away from downtown Chengdu. The station consists of an East Square, a West Square, 14 platforms, 26 rail canals, and a 5-floor station building, with a total size of 108,000 square meters. The Chengdu East Railway Station operates trains mainly within southeast China and Sichuan Province, with a few railways heading north.
